I’ve spent the morning listening to some really happy music, and I thought I’d share it with you. November can be one of those months when those in the northern hemisphere find themselves getting a little depressed. The weather gets worse. The days get shorter. The nights start earlier.
However, for me, November is a happy month. It’s the month of my birthday and my wedding anniversary. It’s a month of beautiful leaves, conkers and hot chocolate. Of Guy Fawkes and fireworks. Of sofa snuggling and justbecause hugs. Of hearty soups and apple crumble. Bring back November joy!
Why not listen to these tracks and let them lift your spirits, or like Sera Beak recommends, imagine that these are lovesongs from the Universe to you:
Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly smiling after that playlist! What songs lift your spirits?

I love that Tom Baxter song Better – his albums are great and I saw him first playing in my local church hall a couple of years ago.

I tend to feel happy when I hear uplifting songs with good memories attached to them. Ash always remind me of my summer after leaving school and how amazing it was. There are songs that remind me of making friends at rock nights during my first year of University, and songs from some of the best gigs of my life.
It always amazes me how powerfully music can act on our moods.

Tom Baxter is fabulous, isn’t he, Heather? I’m very jealous you got to see him live!
We must be around the same age, Vixel! Listening to Girl From Mars as I write this:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ls2yjo2QWt4
Wow, birthday and anniversary in the same month. That is a reason to be happy! Thanks for sharing these, I was not aware of these artists before now. New doors to sounds are open. Thank you!

Thanks so much for sharing these songs! They certainly lifted my morning up. I linked here from the slow blogs site, and am very happy to have found a new blog to add to the roll. A naive question though – I recognized the Jack Johnson (one of my all-time favorites) but am not sure how to get the info about the others, as I would love to know who they are so I can explore further. What information button am I missing? Thanks again!
