It is a wonderful idea and just what it took to pull me out of lurking to join. Now I just have to get my bearing in the group and learn the ins and outs of the group and how this all works.

The entries to this challenge are already coming in and they really are all such a treat! Thanks to everyone for participating so enthusiastically. I just know we're going to end up with a truly astonishing rainbow by the end of June :-)

Since we did not have a new contribution for you today, I thought I would share this from some notes I have just added to my Flickr account (new digital learning for me right now!) Those of us who participate...

Sounds like a wonderful challenge, as I am recovering from surgery for a few more weeks cannot participate, but I was thinking of writing you again. Are you still interested in being pen pals love? Let me know.

Joanna, I agree, what a wonderful creative project ... and one that's sure to enhance my focus on appreciation and gratitude at the moment. It's lovely to have the inspiring examples of Bob and yourself, thank you!

And thank you to Bob!

Liss ... Wow! Single Mum, working full time and you still find time to stop and appreciate a special moment ... and then find the time to share it with us! Sounds like you have two lovely weekends planned ... enjoy!

Leslie, I agree, this challenge sounds like endless fun! Looking for colours, capturing them, sharing them with each other ... and the fun begins right at the beginning, with choosing a colour to start with. Have fun!

Bo, what a wonderful way to turn a negative into an amazing and (knowing you) incredibly beautiful postive. Looking forward to seeing your colours!

Amy, so excited about this project, and so enjoying the Photography Less Ordinary experience, thank you!

And thanks to all the lovely folk on there that make it such a beautiful place to hang out ... have fun, everyone! :o)

Since my land is inundated with flood water right now, I shall start with all that water reflecting blue and make some good of a hard situation. Then maybe yellow.

I would love to play. As a single mum working full time, I only really gets the weekend to do photography. I will have to work on red, yellow and green this weekend and blue and purple the following.

This is a really cool idea by the way. Well done to Bob for thinking of this theme

It's a great idea Amy. I started focusing on colours when out walking as part of a writing exercise, and I now do it often to add some colour and brilliance when I'm out and about. It's amazing how much the world changes when we filter for one thing, and how much colour we notice that we'd otherwise miss.

It often makes me laugh how many objects of that colour the universe seems to throw in my way as if to say "look at this!" "and this!" I've not done it yet with a photographic focus, but I'm sure it'll generate some good creative results too.

Thanks for the prompt and the challenge (and this lovely big comment box, I love it!)
